Tips and tricks

One way to improve an album sheet is varying the opacity of the shape layers. You may include a picture as a background and over it the same picture in full opacity. To get this result, vary the opacity of the shape layers.


 
Or include an empty shape layer  (white or black colored) over the picture and vary its opacity

2008 Hot One Award

Album DS 5.0 My Designer Edition has been honored with Professional Photographer magazine’s 2008 Hot One Award. The Hot One Awards honor the photographic industry’s best new products for professional photographers. This award marks the first nomination and entry for Album DS which just made it’s official North American debut in October.
The contest was judged by a panel of 18 professional photographers voting on categories that fit within their areas of expertise. The judges voted on products based on many criteria including ease of use, suitability to task, workflow, and support.
