Setting album preferences Setting your album preferences is an easy step. You have to ask your lab or bookbinder about the required dimensions of your album and which margin you should let for the bookbinder. Select the menu option from the program Album - Selection and preferences, you 'll get a window like the pictured above. Press on the "Select" button and create a new folder for your project, accept and close the selection window and input the dimensions of your album ( width and height include margins), set your output resolution and color settings ( usually Photoshop 's) and press on OK. A subfolder of your album folder called Pictures will be created automatically. The last step is to select the "Import pictures" option from the menu, select the source folder containing your photographies ( max. of 700) and press on Import, the pictures will be copied to the "pictures" folder of your project and the thumbnails created. The program automatically sincronizes the thumbs with the actual pictures reflecting any change on pictures, deleted files, newly added ones, etc. This will happen every time you start the program, press on the Pictures button or manually update thumbnails with the menu option.
