Rotate Let us start with an open sheet and a picture placed as usual. Select the shape layer at which the picture is grouped and at the Album program press F5 or select "Pictures - Rotate" from the menu Input the degrees to rotate ( positive turns right, negative turns left), accept and the shape and grouped picture will rotate. Please notice that the shape layer and the picture layer have changed his names to include the rotation, you should never rename a shape or layer picture because the program will not know about this changes and could operate erratically. If you only need to rotate the picture but not the shape (horizontallity correction f.s.), select the picture layer and then press F5 to rotate; only the picture will rotate and his name changes accordingly. Of course you may rotate a picture or a shape + picture as many times as you want, rotations will be added (or substracted) to the existing ones and final rotation will be reflected in the name. Edit Now we will edit the picture, select the picture layer (use the move tool from PS and autoselect abbility), and press F6 at the Album program ( or select Pictures - Edit) you will become the original picture opened in Photoshop, now you may apply any filter or change the original photography, save it and close this document. After returning to the program the thumb and sheet will be updated automatically. You may modifiy and retouch the original picture to suit your needs, but yo may no resize it changing the width / height proportion because this will distorte the album picture after refreshing. If this happens you only need to throw your picture layer ( at the album sheet) into the PS trash, select the shape layer and double click on the picture thumbnail at the program, the picture goes newly into the album without distortion. Effects This time we will apply some effects to our album picture, select the shape layer to which the picture is grouped and then press on the little F at the layers palette (Layers style) Apply any style you whish like shadow, glow, stroke, etc. Changes will be reflected on the grouped picture.
