Which version do I need ? All Album DS versions are identical ( besides the typical OS differences between Pc and Mac version). The only difference is about copy protection and delivery.
The less expensive version is by downloading the full version file ( about 450 Mb compressed) from our servers, after downloading you may create a CD backup copy and print the PDF users guide, once installed you have to activate the software for your computer ( by mail or phone). If you want to receive a boxed version including a printed users guide and CD you may select between the software activated or the USB dongle version, this last version allows you to use the software in any computer where you insert the USB key ( one at a time).
For photographic studios with employees we offer additional licenses, for a very low amount you may purchase enough licenses for all your co-workers. To purchase an additional license you have to purchase first one full license. Which Photoshop version do I need ? To use Album DS you need an Adobe Photoshop version CS, CS2 or CS3. Album DS is available for Mac and Pc. Will I get technical support ? Of course, with the purchase of one license you get a full year of free technical support and any update ( including templates, masks, etc) issued during this year. You may contact us by phone, Skype or email. Usually we answer any question in the first 12 hours, even on weekends. Album DS fails to launch or cannot import pictures: Album DS will not run if it encounters a corrupt photo file. If you encounter an error when importing you pictures please close Album DS and delete the file album.arf ( for PC) or album.txt ( for Mac) which is located in the main Album DS application folder. This file saves the last opened album folder information and when deleted, Album DS will open the Sample project, then you can look closely at the pictures for your project to find any corrupted files. Corrupt files generally will not have an image thumbnail. Please remove or replace any corrupt files and reimport. To replace a corrupt file in a project, locate the original non-corrupt file and open in Photoshop and then using Save As, save the file back to the working project folder you are using for the project. And once I have finished the design, where can I get it printed and binded ? Regarding that all the files created by Album DS are JPG, TIFF and PSD standard format files you may print them by any lab, just ask the lab of your preference about album sizes and put them in the Album selection window. All our templates will be resized automatically to fit this size when designing your album. How can I purchase a license ? At the left side of the web site you 'll find the "Order" menu, select the appropiate product and add it to your cart. At the product details page you will find also a currency converter to get the price in USD ( or other currency). At final step you will be asked about your preferred payment processor, we kindly suggest you to select credit card by Paypal ( you don 't need a Paypal account). After receiving your order we will send you an email with the downloading and activation instructions, this mail is not automated, you will receive it in the next hours after your order. May I use the soft in several computers ? No, to do this you have to purchase additional licenses. We are convinced that our quality / service / cost relation is so good that you will have no doubt in adquiring the needed licenses for your computers. We want to help you to stay original, just ask us. Why do I get my sheets at 72 ppi ? Album DS has two working ways, you may set one or another at the Album - Selection and preferences ( for PC) or Album DS - Preferences ( for Mac). When working at scaled mode you will design your album sheets at 72 ppi and you need to generate them to get the final sheets, if you have a powerfull computer you may work directly at final resolution. I get an error, why ? Probably this is due to a faulty Photoshop installation, surelly you are using Photoshop correctly for any other work like photo retouching but the communication with programs like Album DS is not correct. This happens usually when more than one version of Photoshop is installed in the same computer like CS2 over CS, CS3 and CS2. To solve this issue just uninstall all Photoshop versions and install only one of them, sometimes you will notice also a big improvement of performance for your other Photoshop works as a clean installation helps to minimize overcharging Photoshop.
