Inserting a frame Frames may be applied to a picture or to the whole sheet. We start with one of our pictures. We have added a shadow effect and style to it, then press the Frames button of the program. Select the picture' s grouped shape layer in Photoshop, then double click on the frame thumbnail. You will be asked for two parameters, the first one indicates how width ( in pixels) of the frame and the second determines the distance from the picture edges where the frame will be placed (in percentage). We have input 40 pixels and 100 percent to get this: The other way to add a frame is for the whole picture, this may be a single picture or an album sheet. You don 't have to select any specific layer on Photoshop but the selected layer should not be a shape layer or the program will apply the frame to the grouped picture. This is a smooth frame at 60 pixels width and 100 percent for a single picture.
You may add more than one frame to a picture, you will get a nice effect applying a smooth frame at 100 percent and over a narrow frame at 96 percent f.s.
