Generate album

Before sending your album to the lab or bookbinder you have to generate the album ( assuming that you are working with the scaled option activated).

Select the Album - Album Building option from the main menu

then select the desired options and press Accept, the Album will be created at the final resolution ( as set in Selection and Preferences) and the sheets saved to the Album subfolder of your project. If you have activated the psd copy then you will get also all the sheets in Photoshop layered PSD format.

The JPG or TIFF files from this folder are the ones you have to send to your lab for printing.

Now you may also use the program to generate a web page from the album ( select Album - Web files creation) , after uploading it to a web server at Internet you may share the Album with your friends or customers.

2008 Hot One Award

Album DS 5.0 My Designer Edition has been honored with Professional Photographer magazine’s 2008 Hot One Award. The Hot One Awards honor the photographic industry’s best new products for professional photographers. This award marks the first nomination and entry for Album DS which just made it’s official North American debut in October.
The contest was judged by a panel of 18 professional photographers voting on categories that fit within their areas of expertise. The judges voted on products based on many criteria including ease of use, suitability to task, workflow, and support.
